{"id":7,"date":"2007-12-20T22:57:47","date_gmt":"2007-12-20T22:57:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/kirkbridebuildings.com\/blog\/?p=7"},"modified":"2008-06-24T23:06:38","modified_gmt":"2008-06-25T03:06:38","slug":"the-richardson-center-corporation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.kirkbridebuildings.com\/blog\/the-richardson-center-corporation","title":{"rendered":"The Richardson Center Corporation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.kirkbridebuildings.com\/blog\/images\/071220.jpg\" border=\"0\" alt=\"Buffalo State Hospital\" width=\"484\" height=\"150\" \/><br \/>\nAlthough it looks like they&#8217;ve been around for a bit, this is news to me: the <a title=\"Richardson Center Corporation\" href=\"http:\/\/www.richardson-olmsted.com\/\">Richardson Center Corporation<\/a> has a web site where you can learn about their mission to preserve the <a title=\"Buffalo State Hospital Kirkbride\" href=\"http:\/\/www.kirkbridebuildings.com\/buildings\/buffalo\/\">Richardson Complex<\/a> and its surrounding grounds.<\/p>\n<p>The most exciting thing (apart from the fact that they\u2019re trying to save the building) is the creation of an Architecture and Visitor Center in the central part of the Kirkbride. They say its creation is already underway, but I don\u2019t know if that means they\u2019ve actually started moving in yet. Regardless, it seems likely that in the near future it&#8217;ll be possible for people to go inside the building.
