{"id":630,"date":"2009-08-27T11:00:55","date_gmt":"2009-08-27T15:00:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.kirkbridebuildings.com\/blog\/?p=630"},"modified":"2009-08-26T21:53:21","modified_gmt":"2009-08-27T01:53:21","slug":"more-house-greystone","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.kirkbridebuildings.com\/blog\/more-house-greystone","title":{"rendered":"More on House and Greystone"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.kirkbridebuildings.com\/blog\/images\/2009\/08\/27\/1.jpg\" alt=\"Mayfield Psychiatric Hospital Set\" width=\"484\" height=\"350\" \/><br \/>\nA little over a month ago I wrote about <a title=\"Greystone on House Season 6\" href=\"http:\/\/www.kirkbridebuildings.com\/blog\/greystone-on-house-season-6\">a promo for the television series House<\/a> and how it contained footage of the <a title=\"Greystone\" href=\"http:\/\/www.kirkbridebuildings.com\/buildings\/greystonepark\/\">Greystone Kirkbride<\/a>&#8216;s interior. However, more than one person told me that there was no sign of the show filming inside the interior.  I can now confirm they were correct since Fox released a video about building sets for the interior of their fictional Mayfield Psychiatric Hospital. You can watch the video at <a title=\"House\" href=\"http:\/\/www.snakesonacane.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">www.snakesonastick.com<\/a>. Better check it out soon because the video will probably be replaced eventually.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s amazing how much detail and work went into the show&#8217;s effort to reproduce the look of Greystone. I still don&#8217;t understand why they didn&#8217;t just use the hospital itself.
