At least once a month I\u00a0browse through\u00a0my site statistics’\u00a0list of\u00a0web pages linking to KirkbrideBuildings.com. Besides links from the usual asylum and\u00a0urban exploration\u00a0sites, KB.com gets a good number of\u00a0referrals from the not-so-well-traveled corners of the web.\u00a0Sometimes I find\u00a0interesting bits of information and personal anecdotes by visiting these pages, most of time I don’t though, and occasionally I see things that I wish I could forget.\u00a0Anyway, filtered out for your safety and convenience, here are a\u00a0handful of\u00a0referring pages\u00a0from over the years that you may find\u00a0worth looking at:<\/p>\n
A NewTek user builds a\u00a0mostly accurate virtual model of the Northampton Kirkbride<\/a> (and calls my photos “awful”:\/)<\/em>.<\/p>\n A blogger provides links to\u00a0several\u00a0satellite views of Kirkbride buildings<\/a>.\u00a0Looking for these\u00a0can be painful if you don’t have an exact address, so it’s nice to have a few sort of archived like this, even if\u00a0the view of Dixmont<\/a> is just a big empty\u00a0dirt field now.<\/p>\n A short\u00a0discussion on Metafilter from 2005\u00a0cleverly entitled “I’m Mental for Kirkbride<\/a>“.
