If you haven&#8217;t heard, <a title=\"Fergus Falls Has Few Roadblocks on RTC Demolition\" href=\"http:\/\/www.fergusfallsjournal.com\/2012\/04\/25\/despite-protests-city-has-few-roadblocks-on-rtc-demo\/\" target=\"_blank\">things aren&#8217;t looking for preservation<\/a>. The Fergus Falls City Council <a title=\"Fergus Falls City Council Rejects RTC Proposal\" href=\"http:\/\/www.fergusfallsjournal.com\/2012\/04\/03\/council-rejects-rtc-proposal\/\" target=\"_blank\">rejected the only submitted reuse plan<\/a>, and has started <a title=\"Fergus Falls Begins Demolition Discussions\" href=\"http:\/\/www.fergusfallsjournal.com\/2012\/04\/17\/city-begins-demolition-discussions\/\" target=\"_blank\">discussing demolition<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>If you live in Fergus Falls and want the building saved, please attend the city council meeting on Monday, May 7th at 5:30PM to show support for preservation.<\/strong> The meeting will be taking place at <a target=\"_blank\" title=\"Get Directions to Fergus Falls City Hall on Google Maps\" href=\"http:\/\/maps.google.com\/maps?q=112+W+Washington+Ave+fergus+falls,+mn&#038;hl=en&#038;ll=46.281434,-96.074442&#038;spn=0.007615,0.011855&#038;sll=46.281517,-96.07435&#038;sspn=0.007615,0.011855&#038;t=h&#038;hnear=112+W+Washington+Ave,+Fergus+Falls,+Minnesota+56537&#038;z=17\">Fergus Falls City Hall<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>There&#8217;s also an <a title=\"Save the Fergus Falls Kirkbride\" href=\"http:\/\/www.savekirkbride.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">online petition you can sign<\/a> to show your support, even if you don&#8217;t live in Fergus Falls. Please take a minute to sign it. I know online petitions aren&#8217;t the most useful thing in the world, but signing one can&#8217;t hurt, and it might do <em>some <\/em>good. (Note that after signing, you&#8217;ll get an email with a request for a $5 donation.
