I don't know how I missed this, but an upcoming film named "Unborn" featuring Gary Oldman did some shooting at the Kankakee Kirkbride back in March.

They also mention that the movie "Child's Play" (remember Chucky?) was partially filmed in the Kankakee Kirkbride. That was news to me. Almost makes me want to rent that horrible movie just to see the building:)
