Did anyone else watch it last night?
I did and it was very very good (hey I like House to begin with so adding a Kirk. was a win/win for me!). Although it has been revealed that all the interior scenes were fabricated elsewhere, there were plenty of nice exterior shots of the beautiful Greystone Kirkbride (aka Mayfield on the show). I hope the show generates some positive interest in the building.
On a side note does anyone in the know want to comment on how accurately the show portrayed current conditions in a mental hospital ward?

Grrr. I had to miss this because I was working (and my DVR isn't). Hopefully I can catch a rerun or watch it online somewhere.
Looks like you already figured this out, but Ronl did some comparing to his own experience in the TCSH section. For everybody else's reference, that's located here.
It would be great to hear more comparisons from other people too though.

I didn't actually watch the show last night, and I have never seen a whole episode before, but now I'm wishing that I would have DVRed it. For me, Monday is all about the Football!

What i liked most about it was when they had scenes inside you could see old pictures of greystone hanging on the walls. I also believe they used external images of the building and landscape for the windows, not sure but i think so.

The 2hr premier of House is now on Hulu!

I watched the whole thing this afternoon and I have to say, I really liked it. I don't think I will actually pickup watching the series since he apparently is not staying in "Mayfield" after the end of the premier. But had the show continued in the hospital I would probably keep watching it. I really liked all the characters, and it was really cool seeing the inside of the hospital, even if it was just a replication. If you haven't seen it, I recommend watching it, even if you never watched a whole episode before.

Nice, thanks for the heads up. I'm about twenty minutes into it and it's a bit on the dramatic side (of course). The exterior views are nice. I like some of the choices in music too incidentally.
Is the "paranoid" patient in the hooded sweatshirts "Booger" from Revenge of the Nerds?
